Introduction
Wiktoria. 20 years old. I come from Poland, but currently live, work and study in Sweden. I have worked as a content creator for 3 years now. I spent my last year working for an online newspaper in Reșița, Romania with the local NGO. I am deeply interested in media.
One amazing thing I've done
In October 2021, I was enrolled into Applied Linguistics course at the University of Warsaw. Two weeks after the degree has started, I dropped out of it and moved to Romania for seven months. When I was in Romania, I went for a full month to Turkey where I fell in love with Baclava!
Why New Media Design?
I used to study Informatics in high school and wrote my final exam in computer science. I have prior knowledge of HTML/CSS since I worked on establishing an online store; however, I am advanced in C++. Programming languages are no stranger to me, that's why I decided to joined this programme. Working as a content creator, I wanted to expand my knowledge and skills that might help me with my future jobs.
Why did I choose Sweden?
I have already studied the Norwegian language and was highly interested in Scandinavia. When locked up for two weeks in a flat due to corona, I experienced a mental breakdown. I decided to leave Poland for good and move abroad. I came across JU quite randomly, and decided to sign up. Do I regret it? Not at all!
